Menashe Properties has awarded CBRE the leasing assignment for a new six-story office building in downtown Portland’s West End. The building, 12th and Morrison, is located at 1127 SW Morrison.
12th and Morrison contains 60k sf of space and features a full height glazing system that utilizes a ceramic pattern printed within the glass system. From the exterior, the curtain wall will appear as tints of white, setting it apart from other contemporary buildings which employ a dark tint. From the interior, this design will greatly reduce glare and decrease the dependence on window shades. This unique technology reduces heat gain by 30% without sacrificing a floor-to-floor ceiling visual connection from interior to exterior.
Other unique features of the new structure include a fritted white glass design, a wraparound balcony on the top floor and private decks on every level. In addition, the property offers floor-to-ceiling glass with incredible views of the West Hills, shower and locker facilities, bike parking and an enhanced green roof. It also boasts community connectivity and naming rights.
