Newport Beach-based Landmark Real Estate has recapitalized and rebranded the company, formerly known as Landmark Capital Advisors. The recapitalization includes a majority investment from Kraemer Land Company, a multi-generational family office focused exclusively on real estate. Landmark Real Estate reflects a broader sector focus, incorporating the investment and asset management platform of KLC with the advisory services of Landmark Capital.
“As many investors move away from funds and toward direct investments, family offices and high net worth individuals want to invest alongside other experienced investors to give them confidence they are making sound decisions. Our platform originates, underwrites and qualifies every deal for our investors and ensures they are aligned with a proven team overseeing each investment on their behalf,” explains David W. Kidder, president and managing principal of Landmark Real Estate.
The company will work with family offices and private investors seeking diversified exposure in real estate, with Landmark acting as the lead investor and providing the back-office reporting platform.
Currently, the company offers construction loans, bridge loans, and joint venture equity to qualified commercial and residential development partners throughout the western United States. As the company is expanding on Kraemer’s successful investment strategy of capital preservation and long-term growth, Landmark will provide opportunities across the risk spectrum to meet fluctuating market conditions.
